ABOUT FOUNDERS

MEET BLAKE & KRISTA 

Blake & Krista Russell are the founders of 7M Ministries. In 2016 the Lord aligned their lives for a chance reconnection after 13 years apart. They were high school sweethearts who took 2 very different paths in life. Blake was a pro-baseball hopeful who fell into the life of drugs, gangs and ultimately 8 years in prison. Krista was a college cheerleader, Survivor contestant and corporate ladder employee who found herself in an unfulfilling rat race to the top. Now, with 2 kids and 7 years of marriage, they have taken their life story as a call to honor the Lord, together, as He had originally planned. Blake and Krista have a passion to share the Gospel and see lives changed. Their hope is that this ministry opens up a community of people around the world to connect virtually, physically and spiritually.

The Story of 

7M MINISTRIES

Blake was saved in 2012 while in the 3rd year of a 5 yr prison term. The prison he was in was Easterling Correctional Facility in Clio, Alabama. A couple of years after his release, the Lord opened the door for him to go back in as a minister! The men still serving in this institution hold a very special place in our heart seeing that they were the very ones that lead Blake to the Lord.

7M CORE VAULES

  1. The Works of God: 7M Ministries is committed to the works of God in the earth. We understand that God has multifaceted wisdom and that His works will cover a wide range of service. We are committed to doing, in excellence, love, and wisdom, those works that He entrusts to us.
     

  2. A Culture of Honor: 7M Ministries is committed to a culture of  honor amongst all people that we encounter. We will honor those that God has put in our path, preferring them before ourselves, and we will be known as those that operate in this spirit. 
     

  3. A Longing for the Word of God: 7M Ministries will be committed to, and be a people, that love the word of God. Our hearts long for His word as the bread that feeds us, guides us, and keeps us. 
     

  4. Doing Our Part: 7M Ministries understands that no “one” organization or church can do all that God desires to do. With that, we are committed to unity, and will readily partner with those that share the same spirit and heart for the works of God that we do.
     

  5. Rest: 7M Ministries is committed to "stress free" ministry and leadership. We will abide in a position of rest as we do the works of God. Striving will not accomplish anything and we understand that. We will work, but it will be from His rest. Unless the Lord builds the house, those that build build in vain (Psalm 127:1)
